Baby Leah!

My baby cousin, Leah, was born on August 16th, she weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. My aunt Stephanie had a very long labor and Paisley spent 6 days up at the hospital with my mom, Tim and I. Paisley was VERY good at the hospital, she played with her toys, colored and took naps in various hospital rooms :-) When Leah finally arrived, Paisley was very excited and wanted to hold the baby!! Paisley is so gentle with her 2nd cousin and gives her plenty of kisses and love pats :-) I am sure that Paisley and Leah will be good friends when they get older!

25th Anniversary Party!!

On August 9th, my sister and I surprised our parents with a Surprise 25th Anniversary Party!!! It was super hard to keep it a secret from them but it was so worth it, they were totally surprised!! We told them a few days before that we were taking them to The Melting Pot for their anniversary. Ashlee and her family and Tim spent the day setting up the hall with some other family and friends. Tim and I drove them up to the hall and everyone was standing outside when we drove up!! My mom started crying and my dad was totally surprised!! It was so awesome to see their faces :-) The party was absolutely fantastic! Everyone had so much fun, especially the kids! My dad, uncle Jim and Tim played music and all of the kids danced!!

Vacationing in Southern Central Oregon

Last week we spent vacationing in Southern and Central Oregon. After visiting Wildlife Safari, we headed down to Grants Pass where we stayed for one night. The next day we drove to Diamond Lake where we stayed for 3 nights in a fireside cabin. It was beautiful there. Warm during the day and cool at night and in the morning. Tim, Paisley and I went with my sister and her family, my parents and my cousin Jaycie. During one of the days at Diamond Lake we drove to Crater Lake and admired the beautiful land! It was absolutely gorgeous :-) We also fed the chipmunks which Paisley and Alex found hilarious! The next day we went on a horse drawn wagon ride through the national forest bordering Diamond Lake. Everyone enjoyed the ride, especially the babies :-) After 3 days at Diamond Lake, we drove down to Bend and stayed a night at a hotel on the Deschutes River. Our patio door was river front and we had a sitting area outside to sit and admire the view. During our trip we did lots and lots of swimming which we all love and took Paisley on lots of walks. Everyone had a great time!!
Playing music everywhere we go :-)
