Last Saturday, we visited Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon. I hadn't been to Wildlife Safari in years and Tim had never been. Wildlife Safari is s a wildlife park where the animals are free roaming and you drive through in your vehicle and view them. It is a lot of fun and a great way to view the animals with young kids because they can get out of their car seat and look at the animals out an open window. Paisley loved the park and kept pointing at the animals and jabbering,"Wuz dat" "Wuz dat" "Wuz dat" :-) It was a hot day, but very tolerable inside the vehicle with the air conditioning on. The animals didn't seem to mind the heat and most were very active, except the bears and cats which were sleeping in the shade when we drove through.
Paisley loved the gift shop but could not choose which souveneir she wanted to bring home. She collected everything we held up to her in her arms until her arms were so full with stuffed animals that she couldn't see where she was going :-) She eventually chose a Wild Animal touch and feel board book & a pink purse with a kitty cat inside. Paisley loves carrying around purses and she loves cats, so it was perfect!
