Playing at the Park

We have had a cold for the past 10 days! It has been miserable to say the least, trying to take care of a sick baby while you yourself are sick is not fun but the good news is that we are feeling much better now!! Due to being sick , Paisley hasn't been able to play outside and enjoy the recent nice weather so Tim and I took her to the park along with my sister and her 2 boys so she could run around and play! She had a great time going down the slide and rolling in the grass!!

Big GIrl Potty!

Paisley has shown a lot of interest in learning to use the "big girl" potty for a little over a month now. Tim and I have been hesitant to start teaching her to use the potty because she is so young but for the last couple of weeks, I have been putting Paisley on her potty chair when I brush my teeth in the morning. All day yesterday and this morning I noticed that Paisley hadn't peed much in her diaper, so I decided to put her on her potty chair this morning and SHE PEED!!! I was SO proud of her, she is such a big girl!! I don't want to push her to potty train at such a young age but if she's ready then she's ready. We will see how it goes from here. Paisley was very excited over her potty and here is our best attempt at a photo of her with her big girl potty :-)

Our Little Tinkerbell

We are going to Disney on Ice in October and one of the characters featured this year is Tinkerbell! I saw a pattern for this costume at Joanns on Friday and I thought it would be cute to make Paisley a little Tinkerbell costume to wear to the show :-) It turns out the pattern was very easy and didn't take very long to make so I cut it out Friday and made it today. The only problem is that the costume is a little bit big, it gets caught up under her feet when she walks sometimes. So I am going to put it up in her dress up clothes for now :-) Paisley loves to play dress up!!! Overall I am very happy with how the costume turned out, it is very cute!

If you notice Paisley with her hands up by her face, it is a new thing that she does and it is so cute! If you say, "Paisley, come here" and motion for her with your hands, she will look at you with her hands up by her face and wiggle her fingers!!
