Paisley officially got her very first boo-boo yesterday and we ended up taking her to the emergency room. She was playing on the floor with my 13 year old cousin when she went to reach for her Elmo doll and fell face first onto a guitar. Tim was sitting beside them and immediately picked her up. One of the sharp screws on the guitar hit her forehead when she fell and ended up cutting her forehead. Since she fell forward onto it, it made a little hole in her head instead of slicing it. It didn't bleed very much but because it was metal that cut her we felt better taking her into the emergency room to get it checked out. They couldn't really do much for her except put on some antibiotic ointment and a bandaid. She was in a great mood the whole time, laughing at the nurse and at that point we felt silly for taking her in, but you can never be too cautious right?
Everyone always tell you that your kids are going to get hurt but you can't prepare yourself for how bad you feel when they are in pain and scared. We are so thankful that her boo-boo turned out to not be very bad.
Here are some pictures of her last night with her band-aid.

Awww, poor little thing. I can't laugh too much because I would probably do the same thing! I remember the first time Mackenzie had fallen forward and hit her mouth on the carpet and I saw blood. I freaked out and ran her into the bathroom and went and got Steve. She just cut her lip a little. Nothing wrong with her teeth.
Yes, socks were from FM and the shirt and pants I just got at Old Navy last weekend in their clearance areas. That is funny.
