Paisley's Elmo Pumpkin

We finally got around to carving Paisley's pumpkin :-) Paisley absolutely LOVED it! She wanted to help clean it out and carve it. Her favorite part was scooping out the seeds, but we had to watch her closely because she was using the scoop as a spoon and eating spoonfuls of pumpkin and seeds!!! She must have liked the taste because she kept doing it :-) When the pumpkin was finally done, Paisley freaked out because she recognized Elmo. She was grabbing my face and pointing to the pumpkin and saying all sorts of things. It was really cute!!

And yes we carved the pumpkin in our bedroom. Hahaha... there is a story for everything. So we were unknowingly exposed to someone who possible could have/had the swine flu. Since I am more at risk to have complications from the virus (due to being pregnant) and my dad is as well (Muscular Dystrophy), everyone in the house stayed quarantined to their own area for a couple of days just in case anyone was to start showing symptoms, we were hoping not to spread it throughout the entire house. Anyways, a few days later and so far so good... so hopefully no one got it!! So we carved the pumpkin in our room :-) We are planning to carve some more pumpkins later this week, just in time for Halloween!

Disney on Ice!

Last Saturday, we took Paisley to see Disney on Ice! The show was outstanding and Paisley loved it! She especially loved seeing the Cars and Lion King performances. Paisley LOVES cotton candy, so you can see she has a sugar mustache in some of the photos :-) I absolutely loved the combination of shows this year, it was perfect for a variety of age groups and it definately kept our one year old's attention!

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we went to the Roloff Farms Pumpkin Patch. We have wanted to go see the Roloffs for a couple of years now but always decide not to because of the crowds, so this year we just went. The crowd actually wasn't that bad, we were able to walk right in and pick out our pumpkins. This was the first year that Paisley has been walking and able to enjoy the pumpkin patch and she had a great time!! She ran around the pumpkins and kept trying to pick them up. Alex and Ashton had a great time as well, Alex loved playing on the hay bales. My parents were on Roloff patrol, they were trying to spot a Roloff at every corner. We did happen to spot two of the Roloffs :-)
