Paisley's Elmo Pumpkin

We finally got around to carving Paisley's pumpkin :-) Paisley absolutely LOVED it! She wanted to help clean it out and carve it. Her favorite part was scooping out the seeds, but we had to watch her closely because she was using the scoop as a spoon and eating spoonfuls of pumpkin and seeds!!! She must have liked the taste because she kept doing it :-) When the pumpkin was finally done, Paisley freaked out because she recognized Elmo. She was grabbing my face and pointing to the pumpkin and saying all sorts of things. It was really cute!!

And yes we carved the pumpkin in our bedroom. Hahaha... there is a story for everything. So we were unknowingly exposed to someone who possible could have/had the swine flu. Since I am more at risk to have complications from the virus (due to being pregnant) and my dad is as well (Muscular Dystrophy), everyone in the house stayed quarantined to their own area for a couple of days just in case anyone was to start showing symptoms, we were hoping not to spread it throughout the entire house. Anyways, a few days later and so far so good... so hopefully no one got it!! So we carved the pumpkin in our room :-) We are planning to carve some more pumpkins later this week, just in time for Halloween!
